Here is a fun and color Valentine's Day inspired look. Pink, red, and white rule the world of V-Day so it is time to mix in another feminine color to spice things up - perfectly purple. This look was created entirely using drug store products, too! <3<3<3
EYES
I started with a light application of eye primer and once dry applied a white eye pencil so my eye shadow colors would stick a little better and look more vibrant. A bright medium tone pink is placed all over the lid and then I used a medium purple to blend lightly through the crease of the eye until about 2/3 of the way in. I then went back in with a pencil brush and added darker purple closer to the where the lid and crease meet to help define and give depth to the eye. I then carried that medium and darker purple under the eye along the lash line to about 1/3 - 1/2 of the way in. To highlight the under brow area, which helps lift the eyes, I used a lighter pink matte color. In the inner corner of my eyes I used a lilac iridescent. This is the only step I regret as it brought out the circles under my eyes. After shadows were applied I lined my eye with liquid black liner and popped on some mascara on both the top and bottom lashes.
BROWS
To get that delicate look I used brow gel in my eyebrows to help balance the boldness of the bright eye colors.
FACE
I mixed two colors to try to match my natural skin tone and applied it all over my face bringing it down to the neck with a Beauty Blender in a pouncing motion. i then used a bit of concealer under the eye area.
I used a peach lip gloss which was quite opaque on both my lips and I dabbed some of it on my cheeks so I could get a two for one deal on the product.
